Synopsis
During the Christmas season, Maya and Grant struggle to recover from the heartbreak of multiple miscarriages that have left their once vibrant marriage overshadowed by grief.
Searching for a way to restore hope, Grant brings Maya to a local animal rescue shelter where they meet Yoda, a small Pomeranian grieving the loss of his elderly owner. An immediate bond forms between Maya and the dog, but their hope is threatened when a wealthy influencer attempts to adopt Yoda for superficial reasons. In a moment of unexpected poetic justice, Yoda’s instincts reveal where he truly belongs, giving Maya and Grant the opportunity to bring him home. As Yoda slowly becomes part of their family, Maya begins to rediscover joy, healing, and the realization that love can still find its way back, even after loss.
